ENERGY
  • No significant data releases are expected today so the US economy and Chinese demand are likely to remain the focus.
  • China trade and output data will be released later this week which will give some more detail as to their demand recovery following covid restriction earlier this year. However, an increase in new cases raises the uncertainty over future demand again.
  • Later this week will see the release of the monthly market reports from EIA and OPEC on Tuesday and IEA Wednesday. The reports will provide forecasts for the coming months with high uncertainty over both supply and demand.
