ENERGY: What to Watch: IEA Report, EIA US Gas Stocks and ARA Oil Product Stocks

  • The IEA are due to release the updated Oil Market Report at 10:00 CET with focus on the global market balance and future demand growth forecasts.
  • The EIA weekly gas inventories for the week ending Feb. 7 will be released this afternoon at 10:30 ET (15:30BST). The expectation is for a draw of 96bcf according to a Bloomberg survey following a draw of 174bcf the previous week. The seasonal normal is a draw of around 144bcf.
  • The updated Insights Global European ARA product inventories will be released today around 15:15BST. Gasoil stocks the previous week rose further above normal to 2.58m mt while ARA Gasoline stocks increased to 1.69m mt.
