  • Treasury futures paring losses, trading mildly weaker as they follow Gilts climb through Thu's highs at the moment. Moderate volumes (TYU3 > 305k) ahead this morning's data: Import/Export price index numbers at 0830ET followed by University of Michigan sentiment data at 1000ET.
  • Scheduled Fed speaker: Chicago Fed Pres Goolsbee interview in Fox News at 0910ET. Potential for additional speakers to pop up through the day with the Fed entering policy blackout at midnight tonight.
  • Quarterly equity earnings cycle begins in earnest today, large banks filling the early docket: JP Morgan, Wells Fargo, State St Corp all beat est this morning, Citigroup up shortly.
  • Eye on DC: House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) will face his next test as Speaker today when he attempts to force an uncharacteristically partisan National Defense Authorization Act though the House of Representatives.
