JAPAN: While the latest round of international security flow data revealed
little change on the Japanese investor flow front (steady buying of foreign
bonds against steady selling of foreign equities), the changes to foreign
investor flows in Japanese assets was interesting.
- Foreign investors sold the largest amount of Japanese stocks since records
began in the latest week (Y2.1616tln), while foreign investors sold the largest
amount of Japanese bonds since September of 2016 (Y2.1741tln).
