Wires: Gazprom Says Shutting Off Gas To Shell Europe On 1 June

Wires reporting that Russian gas giant Gazprom have stated that they will cut off gas supplies to Shell Energy Europe Ltd from 1 June. Gazprom states that Shell informed them that they would not be paying for gas in roubles.

  • Gazprom states that the contract with Shell is related to gas supplies to Germany.
  • Comes a day after Gazprom announced that it was cutting off supplies to Dutch frim GasTerra for not fulfiling its contract in roubles.
