Wizz Air (WIZZLN 26s; Ba1/NR/BBB- Neg) new annual pass doesn't sit well with competitor

TRANSPORTATION

Ryanair making more friends - see here. The all you can fly passes are WC positive for Wizz - it sold out all 10,000 in under 2 days and they were marketed at €499 (yearly pass). So total proceeds ~€5m. Perhaps some of that will go towards the €770k fine the Hungary regulator levelled on it earlier this month.

Note it still charges flat €10/segment fee, its a 3-day booking window, subject to available seats then and add-on's like baggage are not included. It plans to increase the annual pass fee to €599 in future. Will be interesting to see how the plan nets out for it.
