UK DATA: Women Lift Nov-Jan Employment; Claimant Count Rises in Feb

The UK jobs market remained hot in the three months to January, 
although more recent claimant data could raise questions about the 
sustainability of employment growth. Women accounted for 93% of new jobs 
created in the lastest three month period, leaving females to comprise a 
record-high 47.5% percent of the work force. Self employed roles rose by 
72,300, accounting for a joint record high 15.3% of all jobs. Despite a 
19,000 rise in vacancies in the three months to February, other 
indicators could suggest a softening in the labour market, as the 
claimant count rate increase to its highest level since January of 2014.
