OIL: WTI & Brent have added ~$0.25-0.30 to their respective settlement levels.
This comes after Tuesday's risk averse tone took its toll on crude prices, with
WTI sharply underperforming vs. its Brent counterpart on the day. The ongoing
Sino-U.S. trade tension coupled with soft U.S. data weighed on crude, before the
benchmarks recovered from worst levels on Tuesday.
- The talks between European and Iranian officials are ongoing, although hopes
of any form of truce between the U.S. & Iran seem to be virtually non-existent
at present.
- Weekly API crude inventory data will draw attention later today, with the
release delayed by 24hrs owing to the U.S day.
