OIL: WTI & Brent sit a few cents lower at writing, after crude surged Wednesday,
alongside U.S. stocks. WTI settled ~$3.70 higher yesterday, before moving higher
alongside stocks in post settlement trade, threatening to close above $47.00 at
one point.
- Wednesday saw Russian officials & oil company executives exhibit an openness
for crude to operate around current levels over the short term, although the
chances of prices remaining at current levels for an extended period of time was
downplayed by those that spoke.
