  • A total of 500mbbls of open Sep22 options positions on CME and ICE are due to expire against the Sep future close tomorrow. Current aggregate open interest is 257k calls and 243k puts.
  • The open interest across all WTI options across both exchanges is currently 1.99m calls versus 1.02m puts.
  • A significant volume of put positions are open at both the 85$/bbl and 90$/bbl strikes with smaller open call positions at the same strikes.
