OIL: WTI trades $0.30 lower at writing, while Brent is $0.50 worse off, with
crude hampered by risk-off flows.
- Crude managed to close a shade higher on Thursday, even as risky assets took a
hit.
- Thursday saw the release of the latest Platt's OPEC survey, which suggested
that the cartel's crude output fell by 60K bpd in February, to 30.8mn bpd.
- Elsewhere on the supply front, Libya's NOC noted that the Sharara oilfield was
producing 135K bpd worth of oil on Thursday, still well shy of its capacity of a
little over 300K bpd.
