Powell's Jackson Hole keynote speech at 1000ET the centrepiece.
- Fairly quiet overnight, with some weakness early amid a bit of follow-through
from Thursday's FedSpeak which was perceived broadly hawkish.
- Tsys up a little around 0630ET after Global Times editor Hu tweeted China
would soon unveil retaliatory tariffs on the U.S., but impact mainly felt in
equities, with S&P futures off 0.1% in aftermath (still slightly up on day).
- Sep 10-Yr futures (TY) down 7/32 at 130-2.5 (L: 129-28 / H: 130-11)
- The 2-Yr yield is up 1.6bps at 1.6279%, 5-Yr is up 1.8bps at 1.5188%, 10-Yr is
up 2bps at 1.6335%, and 30-Yr is up 2.1bps at 2.1254%.
