Yen Gains Extend In Early Thursday Trade

USD/JPY has slumped through Wednesday lows in early Thursday dealing. The pair was last in the 142.35/40 region, around 0.35% firmer for the session in yen terms. Focus is likely to be on whether we can test Dec lows around 141.71. We are now through Dec 8 lows at 142.50. Yen is outperforming the rest of the G10 in early Thursday trade, which are close to unchanged against the USD.
