Yen Paring Early Gains, BOJ Due

The Yen has pared the majority of its early gains, USD/JPY was down as much as ~0.5% however yesterday's lows remain intact for now. The pair sits at ¥139.30/40 down ~0.1% from opening levels.

  • On the downside support comes in at ¥138.77, yesterday's low, and ¥137.25 the low from Jul 14. Bulls target ¥142.08, the 61.8% retracement of the Jun 30 - Jul 14 downleg.
  • The window for the BOJ opens in ~30 minutes, the decision is usually published after the morning equity close in Japan. However there is no release time stated for the decision.
