US TSYS
US TSYS: Yields little changed across the curve after the cash re-open, with
T-Notes +0-01+ at 131-15+, holding a 0-02+ range thus far. Contract is 0-02 off
highs after a modest tick higher on a couple of matters:
- Yonhap reported that "South Korea declared the south-eastern cities of Daegu
and Cheongdo are "special care zones." This came after increased worry/case
counts in recent days. Still no word on the nation's virus warning level as of
yet.
- The WSJ reported that "a global terror-finance watchdog agency is set to
blacklist Iran, broadening a U.S. effort to isolate Tehran financially and
potentially strain the already sanctions-battered Iranian economy."
- Finally, the daily Hubei Province coronavirus case count saw an uptick in new
daily deaths (115 vs. prev. 108) and new daily cases (411 vs. prev. 349),
although the number of patient discharges moved higher (1,451 prev. 1,209). New
cases remain subdued after yesterday's alteration to diagnosis methodology.
- Flow remains light.
