Yields Look to Press Higher as Hawkish Fed Speakers Rattle Sentiment

  • TurkGB yields rose +4-25bp on the day with the 5Y most offered, while USD bond yields rose +3-12.3bp with a bear steepening bias holding.
  • 5Y credit default swaps also ticked up +9.57bp yesterday in response to higher UST yields and the prospect of +50bp Fed hikes potentially as soon as may, while the CBRT remains resolute in its easy policy stance.
