AUSSIE BONDS
AUSSIE BONDS: YM and XM sit at unchanged levels, with the latter recovering from
late SYCOM lows, in sympathy with U.S. Tsys. One desk notes that recent flows
continue to centre on further receiving in EFPs, x-ccy basis and BOB spreads in
the sub-5 Year point of the curve.
- AU/U.S. 10-Year yield spread little changed around the 30bp mark.
- Reminder that ACGB month-end extension estimates are minimal at best.
- Bills unchanged to +1 through the reds.
- Overnight cash rate fixes unchanged at 0.13%, with ES account surpluses
steadying around A$65-70bn in recent days.
- Domestic private sector credit, terms of trade and bill supply are all due
today, as is the next round of RBA bond purchases. Further afield, participants
will look to official Chinese PMI data.
