Zelensky Aide Denies Involvement In Nord Stream Sabotage

UKRAINE

Mykhailo Podolyak, aide to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, has denied a report published by the New York Times today suggesting that pro-Ukrainian forces may have been responsible for the attacks on the Nord Stream gas pipelines.

  • Podolyak: "Although I enjoy collecting amusing conspiracy theories about the Ukrainian government, I have to say: Ukraine has nothing to do with the Baltic Sea mishap and has no information about "pro-Ukraine sabotage groups". What happened to the Nord Stream pipelines? "They sank," as they say in RF itself..."
  • A spokesperson for the German government confirmed to Reuters earlier today that a joint German, Swedish, and Danish investigation is ongoing and but there are no results to report.
