Zenobe has officially launched its 200MW (400MWh) BESS in Scotland, with the project integrating power from three nearby offshore wind farms, installer Wartsila Energy said.

  • Additionally, Zenobe estimates that the project will save consumers £170mn over the next 15 years and help prevent 2.6 mn/t of CO2 emissions.
  • The project was installed by Wartsila Energy, with the firm also planning to complete a 300MW (400MWh) BESS project in Scotland by the end of 2025 owned by Zenobe.
