  • Finance Minister Rogelio Ramirez de la O confirmed Pemex has the cash flow to make its own debt payments and will resume making them.
    • He also stated that Mexico’s GDP is very unlikely to grow at under 2% this year and that Mexico is not planning any tax increases, but not ruling them out either.
  • Additionally, the finance minister announced the government will announce new measures to help ease food prices, by increasing food supply, reducing costs of handling cargo and expediting shipments, said at an event in Washington.
