Copper futures started the week on a softer note and traded sharply lower Monday. This marks an extension of the downleg that started off the $486.00 high on Apr 18. The contract has breached $463.95, Apr 11 low and sights are on $447.10, Mar 15 low and a key support. This level has been probed, a clear break would strengthen current bearish conditions and open 428.50, the Mar 31 low. Key resistance is unchanged at $486.15, Apr 5 high.
