0.75% Nov-33 Linker

GILT AUCTION PREVIEW
  • The DMO will come to the market this morning to sell GBP1.5bln nominal of the 10-year 0.75% Nov-33 index-linked gilt.
  • Since launched in June, this linker has seen decent demand at each auction achieving a bid-to-cover of 2.33x at its first two auctions and then 2.94x in October, with the same GBP1.5bln nominal size at each auction.
  • We would expect to see continued decent demand today – indeed, we have not seen a bid-to-cover below 2.33x since September 2022.
  • The 0.75% Nov-33 linker will be reopened on 16 January and 13 February.
  • Timing: Results will be available shortly after the auction closes at 10:00GMT with a further GBP375mln nominal available to successful bidders via the PAOF.
