102 In Futures Caps On First Test

GILTS

A fresh bid for broader core global FI markets takes gilt futures through early Tuesday & Monday bests, although bulls can’t break 102.00 on the first attempt, with only an incremental breach of the 11 May high (101.98) seen, for now.

  • A move above 102.00 would expose a run of Fibonacci projections of the 4-29-30 November price swing.
  • Cash gilt yields are 3.5-8.0bp lower on the day, with 5s outperforming.
