FOREX: A quiet one so far, G10 pairs are happy to hold relatively tight ranges
as news wires have carried little new to capture broader attention. Mild risk
aversion has crept in, limiting sterling and the Antipodeans. JPY outperforms at
the margin, after the release of local CPI data, which showed a continued
deflation in May. 
- Onshore KRW reopened on a softer footing, with participants concerned about
new coronavirus outbreaks in South Korea and regional geopolitics.
- Australian preliminary retail sales will be published at the bottom of the
hour, with UK & Canadian retail sales due later in the day. Speaker slate
features Fed's Powell, Mester, Quarles and Rosengren.
