US TSYS
US TSYS: A quiet re-open for T-Notes with U.S. President Trump reiterating
previous comments re: Iran.
- Tsys softened on Monday, going out near session lows as the curve bear
flattened, with the belly underperforming.
- The dip came alongside a fall in stocks, as tech shares lagged on the back of
the latest turns in the U.S.-China trade spat.
- Fed's Williams noted that the Fed has "changed our view how low unemployment
can get without creating inflation and I think that's a great thing for the U.S.
economy." Clarida & Bullard offered little new.
- Addresses from Fed Chair Powell & U.S. President Trump will draw attention in
Asia-Pacific hours.
- T-Notes last 124-09+, U.S. 10-Year cash Tsy yields closed at 2.416%.
