GOLD: -A slow grind lower since printing the Asian high of $1282.22 through the
European morning with the rate grinding to session lows of $1.1275.31. As NY
entered the fray, the rate received a lift to $1277.43, the move coincided with
the dollar losing ground following soft US Tsys yields.
-A fresh wave of pressure on bullion, as the dollar received a lift across the
board following firming US Tsys yields. The price dropped to fresh session lows
of $1274.89. The precious metal has had a small bounce, however the price
continued to trade heavy.
-A sharp turn in US dollar as the Dow and US Tsys yields dropped. The yellow
metal jumped from its session lows of $1271.95 to recovery highs of $1277.35.
-The PM consolidated in afternoon trade with the price bouncing between $1273
and $1276.
