A Slow Start To The Session

The Asia-Pac session has been fairly subdued so far, as markets steady after renewed declines at Wall Street. U.S. equity index futures hover marginally above neutral levels. News flow has been thin, with the NY/Asia crossover seeing confirmation that the White House will not grant any extension for ByteDance to sell TikTok's U.S. operations.

  • G10 FX are range-bound, NZD & JPY slightly underperform. T-Notes trade at unchanged levels at typing.
  • Regional economic calendar lacks major releases. Main points of note are Japanese PPI & BSI Survey as well as Malausian industrial output & m'fing sales value.
