CABLE: After a modest bout of USD strength sent the pair to lows of $1.3072,
GBP/USD's staged a robust recovery to move back into positive territory on the
back of little newsflow or trading volumes. The best volumes of the day crossed
the CME in Cable futures at the European equity open, with 568 contracts trading
hands at the session low (equivalent to around $47mln notional) - relatively
small size, but clearly enough to change the market's direction this morning.
