STIR: After a quiet European morning session, STIR markets resumed their march
higher around 12:30GMT, before a number of contracts ran into technical
resistance around 14:00GMT.
- Eurodollar futures are once again the biggest movers of the day with Whites
2-5.5 ticks higher, Red and Greens 5-8 ticks higher and smaller moves in Blues
of 3.5-5.5 ticks higher.
- Short sterling futures have also moved higher (except Whites which are within
1 tick of Friday's close) with the rest of the curve 2.5-3 ticks higher on the
day.
- Euribor futures have seen smaller moves and in contrast have moved 0.5-1 tick
lower today following the better than expected German IFO this morning.
