AUSSIE: An improving USD seen pressuring the majors in early Europe. Despite
strong AU GDP data overnight, AUDUSD comfortably holds below $0.7200 near the
base of its $0.7172-0.7218 range. The recent downtrend remains intact with
near-term support at $0.7157 from yesterday's low. AUDNZD failed to consolidate
above NZ$1.1000 with slippage extending to NZ$1.0960. Next support at NZ$1.0936
which represents the 50% retracement of NZ$1.0851-1.1021, a break opens a move
toward NZ$1.0900. Below here opens the 100-dma at NZ$1.0866, ahead of
NZ$1.0851/42 (Aug31 low, 200-dma). EURAUD improves to A$1.6128 looking to break
the key A$1.6200 (A$1.6191 - Mar28 ytd high) area. AUDJPY flirts with the Y80.00
level, support at Y79.52 from the Sep3 ytd low.
