BTPS: Analysts at Rabobank look at the fast-approaching Italian elections and
believe that "A grand coalition, as opposed to a centre right coalition, will be
the more market friendly result but the odds of either administration
accelerating reform appear slim. However, positive cyclical tailwinds and,
notably, expectations that Italy's debt stock as a share of GDP is set to
decline this year for the first time in more than a decade argue that any spread
widening will represent a buying opportunity."
