Angola To Ramp Up Oil Output On New Investments

Angola expects its oil production to temporarily increase next year on the back of recent private investments in the sector, but output will remain below 1.5mbpd, the Finance Minister, Vera Daves de Sousa told Reuters.

  • Beyond next year, production should stabilise around 1mbpd, de Sousa said.
  • Angolan oil output in March fell by 110kbpd on the month to 990kbpd, the lowest level since 2004 according to data from Energy Intelligence Group.
