Angolan and Nigerian May Oil Sales Slow

Angola’s outstanding crude cargoes for May are proving hard to sell, with sluggish interest for Nigerian cargoes too, according to Bloomberg.

  • Out of the total of 34 cargoes for May-loading Angolan crude, around six cargoes do not yet have final buyers. This includes some re-offers.
  • This is also little unchanged from the 5-6 being offered during the previous week.
  • Nigerian sales are also slow amid falling refining margins, with over 30 May lots pegged as unsold last week, Bloomberg said.
