Antwerp FCC May Be Out for "Weeks"

The gasoline unit impacted by an unplanned outage at TotalEnergies Antwerp refinery could last for “several weeks” according to a Bloomberg source.

  • Further cracking has been found on the main fractionator at the plant according to the source.
  • The FCC that is offline is the larger of two units at the plant.
  • Gasoline’s premium to Brent is at its highest level for the time of year since at least 2018 due to a tight market which the Antwerp refinery outage is adding to.
