FOREX: ANZ believe that "the DXY is looking increasingly stretched. In a
fundamental sense, we can see this in the extreme level of positive surprises in
US data (compared to the rest of the world) and in the recent departure of the
USD from fair value (though the deviation is not yet significant). In a market
sense, it is evident in measures of positioning and in technical indicators of
momentum. We do not think that this can last, nor are we convinced that a
reversal in the DXY will mean that the AUD is set to rally. This environment
continues to favour cross trading and we remain long EUR/AUD."
