Argentina Pulls Russian Diesel Cargo in June

A Russian diesel cargo was landed into Argentina June 24, the first since February 2022 according to Kpler.

  • The Marlin Aquamarine loaded around 250k bbls of ULSD from Primorsk, Russia on May 23 and delivered to the Petromining Terminal in Campana, Argentina on June 24.
  • Brazil imported a record 170k b/d of diesel from Russia so far in June, accounting for 60% of all imports according to Kpler.
  • Brazil has emerged as a key outlet for Russian diesel after European sanctions February 5.
