Argentina’s state-run energy company Enarsa has bought at least seven LNG cargoes for July and August delivery, according to Bloomberg.

  • The cargoes were awarded at around TTF plus $1.30/MMBtu.
  • Enarsa’s initial tender was looking to procure up to eight cargoes.
  • Bids were received from Total, Trafigura, Gunvor, Glencore, Vitol, RWE, and Engie. It was not confirmed which bidders were awarded cargoes.
  • Argentina is looking to acquire more LNG cargoes as its winter begins and gas demand rises due to ongoing colder weather.
