EQUITIES: Asian equity, saw Nikkei 225 reopened lower on a negative lead from
Wall St, but local equities eventually trimmed some of their losses. 
-Asian Equities are generally lower but off their worst levels. -Nikkei (NKU0)
bounced off 21560 overnight to 22140, in line with some of the US indices. 
-Fear of a second Covid wave of infections is seen to be much stronger in the
US, than locally. 
-Nikkei, Hang Seng and S&P/ASX 200 sits in negative territory, while CSI 300 is
trading close to flat. 
-Corona virus remains in focus, but Asian pacific have so far kept the pandemic
under control. 
-U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said on Thursday he was working on
various capital markets responses to China's Hong Kong Security law. 
- US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will address a forum on democracy next week
that will also be attended by Taiwan's President Tsai Ing-wen and Hong Kong
activist Joshua Wong Chi-fung - a combination that is certain to infuriate
