Asian Gasoil Oversupply Expected April/May: FGE

Asia’s gasoil supplies are forecast to rise in April and May on weaker regional refinery maintenance and lackluster demand expectations according to FGE.

  • South Korean processors have offered around 5.4m bbls of low-sulfur gasoil for April - a six-month high on the back of higher-than-expected runs.
  • Malaysia’s Melaka plant is slated to resume operations in April, Indonesia’s Balikpapan facility by mid-April and the ENEOS Marifu is expected to return online in 1H April.
