STOCKS: Asian stocks have edged back up from early lows in a quiet session as
markets await the US Fed's announcement tomorrow. 
- The Nikkei is underperforming, down 0.7%, dragged down by the energy sector,
with the index holding below the 21000 level despite recovering early lows. 
- Aussie stocks have shed 0.4% but are holding above last week's lows for now. 
- US equity futures are up 0.4% from closing levels.
