AUSSIE-KIWI: AUD/NZD has slipped 6 pips and last trades at NZ$1.0817.
- The rate is heading towards its upper Bollinger band (2%), which comes in at
NZ$1.0813. A clean breach of the level would give bears the green light for
targeting yesterday's peak and the Oct 19 2018 low, which coincide at NZ$1.0797.
Bulls look for a penetration of the new YtD high of NZ$1.0829, touched
yesterday. This would encourage them to attempt a move towards NZ$1.0900.
- This comes after the pair added 35 pips Monday, despite easing off into Europe
amid reported fund sales. The upside momentum ignited in the London morning
remained intact through the rest of the day.
- The latest RBA MonPol minutes and Australia's Q2 house price index come out
alongside China's new home prices at the bottom of the hour.
