AUSSIE: AUD/USD added 10-15 pips in immediate reaction to the modestly stronger
than expected AU retail sales print, hitting a high of $0.7205, before fading to
$0.7196 last, 11 pips higher on the day. Bulls look for consolidation above
$0.7200 to allow them to target the upper Bollinger band (2%) at $0.7220.
AUD/NZD holds around NZ$1.0600, while AUD/JPY trades at Y77.95.
- Print may have been supported by the Black Friday period, with the RBA closely
watching the effects of falling house prices in the big cities on consumer
consumption.
