AUSSIE: AUD/USD advanced 17 pips overnight and last trades at $0.7237, lifted by
renewed optimism re: U.S.-China trade relations. 
- Rate has recently breached the 100-DMA/broken trendline at $0.7229/34 after
stalling there during Asia-Pacific trade. Immediate resistance is located at the
Dec 12 highs of $0.7238, followed by the Dec 6 high/50% fibo retracement of the
move from $0.7394 to $0.7172 at $0.7274/83. Meanwhile, bears target the Dec 12
low at $0.7197 and a break below would shift their focus to the Dec 11 low &
cloud top at $0.7185. 
- Little in the way of tier one AU risk events noted in the remainder of the
week, the RBA's Dec meeting minutes are due next Tuesday, ahead of next
Thursday's AU labour market report. Markets also eye the AU gov't MYEFO, due
Monday.
