AUSSIE
AUSSIE: AUD/USD last $0.7190, 36 pips lower on the day, as risk off flows came
into play, with multiple factors potentially limiting risk appetite already
pointed out elsewhere.
- Bears look to the Dec 10 low/1.0% 10-DMA envelope at $0.7172/71 before
attempting a move through the lower Bollinger band (2%) at $0.7156. Conversely,
bulls look for a break above the reported resistance/100-DMA at $0.7225/27
before challenging $0.7247, where the rate peaked yesterday.
- The RBA is set to release its Dec meeting minutes Tuesday, while Aussie labour
mkt data will hit the wires Thursday. Eyes also on the Aussie govt's MYEFO due
