AUSSIE
AUSSIE: AUD/USD last $0.7250, sticking to a 28 pip range & having advanced ~20
pips in the Asia-Pacific session, as Aussie benefitted from broader risk on
flows.
- AUD garnered some modest strength after RBA's Assistant Gov Kent played down
claims of a credit crunch in the housing market.
- Bulls need a clean break above the 100-DMA at $0.7250 before trying to retake
Friday's highs of $0.7258. A move through that level would open up the Nov 22/21
highs of A$0.7268/77. Conversely, bears eye Friday's low/21-DMA at $0.7218 and a
break below would shift their focus to the Nov 14 low at $0.7188.
- Australian docket this week is rather dry.
