EURO SUMMARY: *Aug3 Euro-dollar open $1.1856, range $1.1834 to $1.1859
*Euro opened in Asia toward the middle of the $1.1794 to $1.1910 range witness
yesterday, where US dollar weakness and demand in the crosses, predominantly
Euro-Swiss and Euro-yen, underpinned the single currency.
*Modest US dollar weakness and supply in Euro-yen pushed the euro lower from
near $1.1855 to $1.1834
*Once euro-yen supply subsided, euro recovered back to $1.1849
*Ahead of the European open and the release of European PMI's for July, the euro
consolidated around the $1.1845 level.
*Support is located at $1.1833 (61.8% $1.1785-$1.1910), while Asia's high of
$1.1859 is initial resistance.
*BoE meeting and Inflation Report will be the main focus for the session ahead
(cross-flow), which also includes Markit service sector PMI's across Europe.
