AUSSIE BONDS: Aussie bond futures happy to hold a tight range after steepening
in SYCOM trade, with long end losses limited as the RBA chose to focus on the
longer end of its current ACGB holdings in today's purchasing ops. YM -1.0, XM
-3.0.
- Elsewhere, news flow was light, with Treasurer Frydenberg running through the
recent local Super withdrawals and a dismal set of flash CBA PMI data seen.
- Bills unchanged to 1 tick lower through the reds. Surplus cash balances on ES
accounts continue to pare back from the recent record levels, with the overnight
cash rate fixing unchanged at 0.14%.
