*The move higher lacked follow through, fresh sellers emerged via the crosses
with a deeper reversal to print a new intra-day low of $0.7871 in early NY.
*The release of a mixed batch of US data witnessed the rate spike to recovery
highs of $0.7895.
*As oil and XAU rose, combined with broad based dollar pressure, witnessed the
rate jump towards $0.7915.
*Broad based dollar pressure at the 4pm month end re-balancing,
combined with XAU and oil rallying, saw the rate spike to a new intra-day high
of $0.7934. As the fix finished the rate slipped back towards $0.7920.
*A wave of broad based dollar pressure over Mnuchin comments, combined
with commodities rising saw the rate print a new intra-day high of $0.7941,
before slipping back towards $0.7925
*As commodities continued to firm , the pair followed suit with the jumping to a
new intra-day high of $0.7950.
