AUSSIE SUMMARY
AUSSIE SUMMARY: Aussie-dollar: Sep15 close $0.7998, Sep18 Asia range
$0.7995-0.8035, Europe $0.8001-30
*Aussie-dollar initially traded sideways in early Asia tied to a narrow
$0.7995-0.8009 range. As demand started to surface the rate lifted from near
$0.8000 to $0.8035
*Risk-on was the overriding theme with regional equity markets posting healthy
gains, traders noted the lack of fresh news on the Korean peninsula also helped
sentiment
*Consolidation spilled over into Europe, aussie held $0.8020-30 in early
dealings
*The eur-usd retracement off earlier posted highs ($1.1956) started to pressure,
rate extended its corrective pullback to $0.8001 before dip buyers cushioned
falls
*Recovery efforts remained shallow throughout the morning as focus turns to the
downside. A break of the Asia low ($0.7995) targets a deeper move toward $0.7950
($0.7956 - Sep14 low). Aussie last $0.8007.
