Austria's Schwechat Back to Full Capacity

REFINING

OMV’s 193,700 bpd Schwechat refinery in Austria has fully restarted operations, having been partially offline since June 3 due to a damaged CDU.

  • The refinery had been running at 20% while repairs were ongoing.
  • Austria released 112,000t (836,000 bl) of diesel and 56,000t (473,000 bl) of gasoline from its road fuel reserves in early June to ensure sufficient supply during the repairs.
  • The return of the refinery is expected to now stabalise local refined product supply.
